Julia Hoffmann is the Creative Director of Advertising and Graphic Design at MoMA The Museum of Modern Art in New York. She worked previously as a design director and interactive art director at the Colorado-based agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where she worked on the interactive side for clients such as Burger King, Microsoft, and Volkswagen. She started her career working for Paula Scher at Pentagram in New York, where she designed identities and branding systems, packaging, and publication designs for clients including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Target, the Public Theater, and The Criterion Collection. She also helped develop the redesign of The Metropolitan Opera in New York, and was the lead designer on the award-winning bestseller The Daily Show with Jon Stewart Presents America (the Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction.
 
She enjoys organizing information and working on illustrations which appear in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and Men’s Health Magazine.
 
Born in Frankfurt, Germany, Julia earned her graphic design degree from New York’s School of Visual Arts, where she now teaches.
